Georgia Council for the Arts uses Peer Review Panels to review applications following National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) precedent. The panelists are fellow professionals experienced in the arts discipline or type of grant being reviewed or are citizens with a record of arts activities, experience, and knowledge. Panel meetings focus on review of the application, support materials and, where appropriate, onsite reviews. The panelists' collective conclusions are recorded in a Consensus Statement that is provided to each applicant.
Meetings are open to the public and, unless otherwise indicated, are held at the offices of Georgia Council for the Arts. In order to ensure available space, reservations are required. Please call (404) 685-2787 to have your name and organization placed on the guest list.
