Filling Out The Application

What Application Do I Need?

GAP Certification Application

GCA prefers, when possible, to designate local arts organizations as GAP Agencies.  However, in the event that such organizations do not exist or meet the certification standards, other nonprofit entities may serve. (Sampling of eligible organizations: arts organizations, Chambers of Commerce, units of government, libraries, civic organizations, and historic societies)

The certification application must be completed by all new applicants and returning applicants having just completed a three-year continuation cycle.  The certification application is for a three-year term.  However, new applicants will be reviewed at the end of Year One and evaluated for compliance before proceeding to GAP Continuation, Year 2.

GAP Continuation Application

The continuation application must be completed for the second and third years of the GAP Agency contract, once GAP Certification has been awarded.

The continuation cycle is as follows:

Year 1:  Agency submits GAP Certification Application

Year 2: Agency submits GAP Continuation Application

Year 3: Agency submits GAP Continuation Application
