FY2010 GRANT AWARDS ANNOUNCED

More than $2 Million Distributed Statewide

    Letters announcing recipients of grant funding for fiscal year 2010 have been sent to more than 200 arts organizations throughout the state of Georgia.  Approximately $2.6 million in funding will be distributed to a community that includes theatres, dance companies, museums and more.

GCA Clients Surveyed on Impact

     Georgia Council for the Arts recently conducted a survey of more than two hundred nonprofit arts organizations (not including schools, school districts, or government agencies) to determine the impact of the current economic crisis. In short, Georgia’s nonprofit organizations are suffering from the fallout of this recession; arts nonprofits are no different.
