FY2010 GRANT AWARDS ANNOUNCED
More than $2 Million Distributed Statewide
Letters announcing recipients of grant funding for fiscal year 2010 have been sent to more than 200 arts organizations throughout the state of Georgia. CONGRATULATIONS GEORGIA ARTISTS!
Eight Georgia artists have been added to Southern Artistry, a juried, online artists registry. The website is hosted by the Southern Arts Federation, a regional arts organization that works in partnership with nine Southeastern state arts agencies. The artists, named below, represent a variety of arts disciplines including visual arts, literature and theatre.

GCA Clients Surveyed on Impact of Economy
Georgia Council for the Arts recently conducted a survey of more than two hundred nonprofit arts organizations (not including schools, school districts, or government agencies) to determine the impact of the current economic crisis. In short, Georgia’s nonprofit organizations are suffering from the fallout of this recession; arts nonprofits are no different.
