Cultural and Heritage Tourism Video Makes GCA

 Website Debut

GCA Executive Director Susan Weiner  believes that “every arts

organization in Georgia is a valuable steward of cultural and heritage

tourism for the state.”  See how the Arts have generated revenue and

reinvigorated Southern communities. The video is a great tool to

emphasize the impact that the arts and culture can have on any

 community. View the video.

Registry Offers New Opportunity for Georgia Writers

GCA is pleased to announce the pilot phase of a new program: the

Georgia Writer’s Registry, managed by the Center for Southern

Literature. Eventually a GWR dedicated website will promote

professionally acclaimed Georgia writers for the benefit of our

students, teacher programs, and community events. It will also serve

as a source of qualified authors for commissioned works.  For

additional information, contact Literary Arts Program Manager,

Debora Ott.  Visit the GWR website.

GCA Welcomes Addition to the Staff

Susan Kinney has joined the GCA staff as Administrative Clerk.  As

an established artist, musician and vocalist, she is an active

participant within the local arts community.  In addition to interacting

with clients, she will assist program staff with grant coordination,

preparation for peer review panels and information management.
