PHILOSOPHY: ARTS SERVICES
The arts are an economic engine for the state’s economy, providing jobs, improving the quality of life, and serving as destination locations for tourism, Georgia’s second-largest industry. These benefits are the by-products of single-discipline nonprofit arts organizations that seek to enrich the lives of their audience through entertainment and through learning about themselves and about others. For these reasons, the state of Georgia funds two grant programs and one funded program.
