PHILOSOPHY: ARTIST ROSTERS
GCA helps support the development of the state’s arts infrastructure through four Funded Programs: Touring Artist Roster, Arts Education Consultant Bank, Arts Education Teaching Artist Bank, and Teacher Professional Learning Bank. There is no monetary award associated with these programs; however, they promote those included on the Banks/Rosters, and serve as resources for Georgia teachers, schools, and arts organizations. All arts organizations, artists, and arts professionals listed in the GCA Touring Artist Roster, Traditional Artist Roster and Arts Education Banks are GCA-certified, having gone through a competitive adjudication process.

Applications are available for the following Artist Rosters:
Touring Artists Roster
(TAR)
The Touring Artists Roster provides promotion for Georgia artists who offer arts programming available for touring. To increase opportunities for Georgia artists to obtain successful touring engagements, GCA makes this publication available to the public, community arts councils, GAP sub-grantees, and other presenting organizations in Georgia, as well as through the Performing Arts Exchange’s annual conference for national presenters. Although success in being placed on the TAR does not guarantee bookings, it is an effective marketing tool.
Arts Education Consultant Bank (AECB)
The Arts Education Consultant Bank is designed to serve as a resource of skilled arts education consultants available to those awarded GCA grants, as well as to those seeking recommendations for other arts education endeavors. The AE Consultants Bank is available to nonprofit organizations, community arts councils, schools, and school systems as a resource of competitively evaluated specialists.
Arts Education Teaching Artist Bank (AETAB)
The Arts Education Teaching Artists Bank is designed to serve as a resource of Teaching Artists who are skilled in one or more art discipline and experienced in classroom settings. Teaching Artists may be utilized throughout the GCA grant programs. The AETAB is published as a resource of competitively evaluated consultants available to nonprofit organizations, community arts councils, schools, and school systems.
Teacher Professional Learning Bank (TPL-Bank)
The Teacher-Professional-Learning Bank is designed to serve as a resource of GCA-certified arts organizations that offer arts-in-education professional learning to teachers and schools. Teachers and schools may apply for a TPL Grant to fund a professional learning program from one of these arts organizations, which are published on the GCA Websiteand in the TPL Grant guidelines. GCA strongly advises all applicants to the TPL-Bank to review the TPL Grant guidelines before submitting their applications.
Traditional Artists Roster
The Traditional Artist Roster is an adjudicated listing of qualified Georgia traditional artists. The art forms supported through the Traditional Artists Roster include music, visual arts and crafts, dance, and storytelling traditions, among others.
The Traditional Artists Roster’s purpose is to increase visibility and booking opportunities for Georgia’s traditional artists.
