Momentum for the Arts

GCA has partnered with the Georgia Center for Nonprofits to bring Momentum to Georgia's arts nonprofit community. 20 arts organizations will receive full scholarships from GCA to participate in Momentum, an 18-month capacity building program that offers participants organizational assessment, customized strategic planning and one-on-one work sessions with a nonprofit consultant.  

State Art Collection Tour


“Inspired Georgia: 28 Works from Georgia’s State Art Collection”


Nine Georgia communities have been selected to host the state's first traveling art exhibit.  Featuring twenty-eight pieces from Georgia’s state art collection, the exhibit is sponsored by GCA in partnership with GHC and the Tourism Division.  The work will be on tour for 14 months.

FY 2015 Grant Guidelines Available


Georgia Council for the Art's FY15 grant guidelines are now available.  The deadline is now February 6 for both Partner and Project Grant applications.  Online grant workshops will take place in January- dates and times will be announced in the coming weeks.  Please note, GCA will not be accepting applications for the Touring Artist Roster for the coming year.

Explore the Arts! Reserve the Arts Specialty Plate!

Georgia Council for the Arts is currently accepting reservation forms for the plate. Reservations can be made online by clicking on the link below. The $25 reservation fee which will be applied to the total cost of $80 once one-thousand reservations have been received.
