State Art Collection Tour

Georgia Council for the Arts in partnership with the Georgia Tourism Division and the Georgia Humanities Council is pleased to announce the availability of a traveling exhibit from Georgia’s State Art Collection.  The exhibit highlights the diversity of styles, media and techniques in the Collection, as well as work from some of Georgia’s iconic artists.  The deadline to apply is June 20, 2013

Call for Artists

The Office of the Governor and Georgia Council for the Arts announce a call for entries for "The Art of Georgia: Celebrating Georgia's Landscapes and People," an exhibit that will showcase current work of contemporary artists and hang in the executive offices of the State Capitol. The next deadline, for submissions from artists who live in metro Atlanta, is June 7, 2013

 

Grant Panels

The grant deadline for Georgia Council for the Arts FY 2014 grants has passed. Grant Review Panels will be held in April and May. Georgia Council for the Arts uses peer review panelists for the evaluation of grant applications. Panelists are chosen from throughout the state and represent a broad range of experiences and expertise.

Georgia Council for the Arts is currently accepting reservation forms for the plate. Forms are available for download and must be mailed with a $25 reservation fee which will be applied to the total cost of $80 once one-thousand reservations have been received.
